April 18th

Hi Classes! Hope all is well! I just was released yesterday from the hospital... the labor and delivery part was not very fun! I got to 10cm pretty quickly which was good but then the baby didn't want to come out! After pushing for almost 3 hours they did a c-section and from studying c-sections you'll remember that it is major surgery and recovery time is longer. But anyway.. enough about school. I now have a beautiful baby girl, Elizabeth "Libby Hunt" Taylor she arrived Monday morning at 4:48am 7lbs 14oz and 21in. We are following her schedule... self-demand... as you'll remember from your quiz last week :) and she is basically just eating and sleeping a lot. I am pretty tired and sore from the c-section and from waking up every 2 hours. All I could think about were those babies that you guys go home with and how I can justify now that some feedings take forever! So the electronic babies are pretty accurate I guess. Hope all is well in class and that you are paying attention and learning lots. Be good to Mr. Richardson and I"ll come for a visit sometime soon! :)
